There is a wonderful 5 mile free no kill section of the river Mino close to the house and also free general areas where you can take the fish out from, we would be happy to cook them for you. There is a lovely day ticket section of the river Ladra approx 10 mins away, day tickets cost 3 Euros per day There are also catch and release sections of the Ladra, Narla and Magdelena about 20 mins from the house. There are lots more rivers in the area and the orientation tour and the info pack will enable you to know exactly where you can fish.
The largest fish we caught in 2012 was a 5lb wild brown trout but the catch is generally about 1 or 2lbs, there are also Dace in the rivers which will take a fly up to about 1lb.
Should there be any problems with the fishing due to the weather we will inform you approx. one week before you come in case you want to change your dates or cancel, a full refund of any monies paid to us will be given.
Flights are available from Heathrow on Vueling, Stansted on Ryanair and Dublin on Aer Lingus to either Santiago de Compostela or La Coruna
We can't now buy Fishing licenses in advance, the passport holder has to be there, so we will take you to Lugo at the first opportunity during your stay to get your license, the office is open 09.00 -14.00 on weekdays only. Please take this into account when deciding on dates. Thanks
