Come fly fishing for wild brown trout in green Galicia, Northern Spain's best kept secret. Galicia is known as the land of a thousand rivers from rushing mountain torrents to the mighty Mino, it is the green Jewel in Spain's crown. Situated in the North West of Spain above Portugal Galicia is full of history from the world heritage site of roman Lugo to the ancient pilgrimage town of Santiago de Compostela. A fishing holiday to remember in a beautiful location.
Fishing is available from April to September and Bed and Breakfast all year round. We have four day guided fishing packages available, fishing days or a made to measure package depending on your needs, all levels are catered for from beginners to experts . We are 20 minutes from the world heritage site of Roman Lugo, 45 minutes from the regional capital of La Coruna, 1 hour from the pilgrimage town of Santiago and 45 minutes from miles of beautiful beaches. It is 5 minutes by car to the local village of Rabade where there are several restaurants and bars.
For relaxation there are several nine hole golf courses and some beautiful luxurious spas, a nature reserve set on a lake which is perfect for bird watching and even a prehistoric village, all within a 15 minute drive. Ideal to take advantage of all the rivers or exploring Galicia

We are close to some of the Pilgrimage route to Santiago for those of you who enjoy walking. We have been astounded by the amount of birds around and about, we are not birdwatchers however we see Storks, Red Kites, Buzzards and other birds of prey, Jays, Black Red Starts, Non-Spotted Starlings, Hoopoes, Red Leg Partridges amongst many others I can't identify in our garden everyday and if you take advantage of the hides on the nearby Cospeito lake nature reserve there are many, many more species.
Wildlife abounds in this glorious area. Fish with Kingfishers by your side, watch the Eagles, Kites and Storks soar above you, while Deer and Wild Boar come for a drink. Otters play in the waters and the banks are covered in wild flowers from orchids to jonquils. Fishing in Spain at it's best.
